Chashuping village is located 60 kilometers north of Suichang county and 15 kilometers away from the north boundary exit of Suichang on Longli expressway. There are more than 300 households and more than 1000 people in the village. There are 83 households and 311 people in Taoyuan natural village. Chashuping village is located in Gaoping Township, Suichang County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province. There is a large Rhododendron forest on the top of the mountain about an hour away from the back mountain of chashuping village. From January to May and June every year, the gorgeous Rhododendron stretches on several mountain tops, coloring the whole mountain red. Villagers have been living in the mountains for generations, and they have turned a blind eye to this sea of flowers.

Taoyuanjian village, more than 1300 meters above sea level, continuous mountain days, top shrubs, azalea and wild hawthorn everywhere. In early summer, rhododendrons are blooming all over the mountain, and there is a sea of flowers ten miles around, which is so spectacular that it is called "ten thousand mu Rhododendron". In late autumn, hawthorn fruit clusters in the trees of the mountain, red and purple, kiwifruit hanging in the trees of the mountain, rich fruit, villagers can pick up more than 100 Jin a day.

In recent years, relying on the characteristics of Alpine Rhododendron, the village has developed agritainment leisure tourism. The village's 21 farmers set up farmhouse, with more than 90 beds. Every year during the May Day holiday, people come to Taoyuan to see the azalea, attracting tourists from Shanghai and Hangzhou, and also admiring the name of the azalea. Taoyuan Village yellow wall Daiwa houses scattered high and low, clear mountain springs flow from the village. The simple mountain village and the azalea all over the mountain make the tourists appreciate and leave a good memory.

"Since that year in 2006, some tourists began to go to the mountains here to see the azaleas. There were not many people, just a few hundred." Huang Jiufu, Secretary of the Party branch of chashuping village, witnessed the whole process of the ten thousand Mu "treasure in the mountain" ushering in the big market. He and the villagers began to realize that the Rhododendron in Houshan, which the villagers turned a blind eye to, could bring new changes to the villagers.

From the initial word of mouth to conscious propaganda, in a few years, "going to Gaoping to see the azalea in May" has become a new tourism card of Suichang. The Rhododendron flowering period of more than one month has attracted more than 30000 people to climb mountains and enjoy flowers.

The concept of the villagers in chashuping changed very quickly. The farmers who smelled the business opportunities started rural tourism by organizing farmhouse entertainment, selling agricultural products, developing farming experience and relying on the crowd attracted by Azalea.

"At the beginning, there were only four families, and they only provided farmhouse meals. There was no accommodation. A meal cost 20 yuan per person." The local villagers, who have been farming for generations, obviously can not adapt to the market.

Through study and guidance from the local government, every family in the village soon started a happy farm. Up to now, there are 28 households and more than 150 beds in the village. In addition, the village has also set up a Rural Recreation Association to manage the village's Rural Recreation in a unified way.

It has brought considerable income to the villagers. Fu Changfu, director of the village committee of chashuping village, told the reporter that the annual income of the farmers who started farmhouse entertainment increased by more than 10000 yuan, and the per capita income of the whole village also reached more than 300 yuan.

In order to enrich the life of foreign tourists, the village also carried out a series of activities, including climbing taoyuanjian, playing MACI, touring shimiyan, planting flowers and vegetables, holding a party and other activities.

In Huang Jiufu's home, the village Party branch secretary also saw a rare computer in the countryside. The 3000 yuan computer became the most valuable thing in his family. "Because many guests live in my home and ask if they have a computer, in order to meet the requirements of the guests, we have specially equipped a computer." Huang Jiufu's wife, Chen Zhangqiu, said that there are still many changes. Dried bamboo shoots, dried plum vegetables, tea and other agricultural products that used to be hard to sell are not only sold at a good price, but also in short supply.
