Pingyang Xiwan scenic spot

The cangyan frescoes in Xiwan scenic area are mainly composed of reef and stone landscape. Xiaoyangshan, Hengzhou, Longtan, Jimu chaoguangdian and Huangjia Dagao are the characteristics of this scenic spot.

Xiwan scenic spot is located in the southeast of Pingyang County, east to the East China Sea, South to aokou, West to Mocheng, north to Feiyun River, with a total area of 17 square kilometers. The features of the scenic spot are many bays, wide beaches, secluded caves, dense reefs and rocks, clear layers and textures, rich colors and strange shapes. These sea erosion, reef and beach scenery, together with the waterfalls, fishing village customs, ancient stage, beacon tower of Ming Dynasty and folk myths and legends, make Xiwan a modern seaside and sea Rock Scenic Area with sea erosion, reef and beach scenery as the main body.

From south to north, the scenic spot can be divided into five major scenic spots: Yangyu mountain, Ersha, xi'aokou, Xiwan and tiaotou. Yangyu mountain scenic spot is centered on Yangyu mountain, which is an island with an area of 0.28 square kilometers at the mouth of Aojiang River. The center of the island is 0.95 kilometers away from the edge of the land. There are many steep rocks and standing stones on the four sides of the island, and there are strange sea erosion beaches and caves. Overlooking the beacon fire, the wonders of juao negative mountain, Shuanglong cave, Shengui cave and Guanyin belt are all important scenic spots in this scenic area. Ersha scenic spot is the characteristic scenic spot of Xiwan scenic spot. The overlapping sea erosion cliff is an inexhaustible source of creation for photographers and artists. Small murals, stone corridor, tingchao cave and JINZI peak are all scenic spots in this scenic area. Xi'aocang scenic spot is located in the middle of Xiwan scenic spot. There are many caves in this scenic spot, with stone walls and sand beaches, and wan'ao one after another. Mengyin cave, Wanxiang painted wall, Tiandu stone pillar and owl rock are the main scenic spots.
