Longwan museum is located at 501 Wenzhou Airport Avenue, surrounded by rivers on three sides. It is about 1.9 km away from Wenzhou airport in the East and 2.4 km away from Longwan District People's Government in the West. There are only exhibitions in the museum, such as "the evolution of biology", "Longwan Museum collection exhibition", "Longwan District cultural relics protection unit photo exhibition", "Longwan historical and cultural celebrities Exhibition", "Longwan famous and popular cultural relics exhibition", etc. It started construction in 1997 and opened on December 30, 1999, covering an area of 12 Mu and a construction area of 3000 square meters.

The exhibition of Longwan cultural relics and specimens is divided into two parts: the exhibition of animal and plant specimens and dinosaur skeletons to reflect the biological evolution; the exhibition of Longwan historical and cultural overview through the introduction of cultural relics protection units, historical and cultural celebrities and the historical and folk cultural relics unearthed and collected in the area.

Collection

Blue glaze brown spot chicken head pot with small pan mouth, neck binding, shoulder sliding, spherical abdomen, flat bottom and concave inside. On one side of the shoulder is a high crown raised eye chicken head, on the other side is a round handle, and on the other side is a symmetrical bridge system. The mouth, handle, flow and abdomen of the basin are decorated with brown stippling.

Wang Kaiyun's calligraphy Wang Kaiyun (1833-1916) was named Renqiu and xiangqi. Xianfeng Juren of the Qing Dynasty was the curator of the Qing history museum after the revolution of 1911. He was the main leader of the modern literature school in the late Qing Dynasty. At the beginning of his book, he studied Ouyang Tong, and then attacked Beibei stele. His style was vigorous, simple and colorful. Fan paper, 25 × 50 cm, 14 lines of text, 56 words in total, running script in vertical arrangement.

In spring and autumn every year, students are organized to hold popular science education activities and adult ceremony in the museum.
