Huang Yuan

Huangyuan is located in the south of Xiuning County, at the north foot of chaziling mountain range. It has a unique flavor, but it doesn't show mountains and dew. Huangyuan village is located 20 kilometers south of the town government. It is the southernmost administrative village of the town. National Highway 205 and huangtatao Expressway run through the village, reaching Longtian Township in the East, Wucheng town and Shandou Township in the west, Longtian Township in the South and Dafu village in the north. The terrain is mountainous, with 12 villager groups under its jurisdiction. The natural villages include Shangcun, Zhongcun, Xiacun and Hexi villages, with a total number of 450 households and 1940 people. At the end of the year, the area of cultivated land was 1026 mu, including 1942 mu of forest land, with a forest coverage rate of 80.3%.

Huang Yuan

Huangyuan village is a village beside the cemetery where some of the clan members from the descendants of Zhu Quan came to settle down in Nanchang during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty.

After the death of Zhu Quan in 1448, part of the eight clansmen of Zhu Quan's descendants came from Nanchang to settle in the cemetery and lived in it, forming a village next to the cemetery, namely Huangyuan village, Shibu Town, the newly built area.

Under the guidance of Zhu Shui Dang, the director of the village committee, we walked on the path winding between the old houses with blue bricks and tiles, looking for the most primitive village in Huangyuan village. The dog playing under the eaves and walking on the road, the buffalo in the open space and the cow dung cake on the wall all reveal the serenity of Huangyuan old village.

Around the "Zhu ancestral hall", you can see a collapsed remnant wall in a climbing shape, with a door frame inlaid on the wall; on the right side of the open space, there are a lot of scattered feldspar. Beside the feldspar, there is a dilapidated green brick wall, which is in the shape of "eight" with the remnant wall with a door frame. "This is the most primitive existing site of the gate of the" Wangfu "in cunpan. The gate collapsed eight or nine years ago." A word from the Zhu Shui party reminds us. This is really the gate shape of a building. At the scene, we can imagine the domineering and spectacular of the "Royal Palace" in those days.

This is the old village plate, which was created by the descendants of Ning fan. It contains the history of blood and tears in the turbulent times of the Ming clan in the early Qing Dynasty, such as Zhu Da, a man from Badashan, waiting for the world to discover.

No one in the village can tell when the "Palace" was built. Meng Liangyi, the 67 year old curator of Xinjian County Museum, who accompanied him, also said that he had not done any research. "Wangfu" has a large area, with a circle of walls, which can't breathe through the wind to encircle the village. This kind of building with defensive function is rare. In the past, hundreds of villagers in Huangyuan village lived here. Later, young people came out of the "Palace" one after another, leaving behind mostly the old.

Walking along the Qingshi road beside the wall, we can see time's contribution here. The old wall has been ruined and changed by time. The buildings inside the wall were also badly damaged. Many buildings turned into ruins and soil under the feet, and some new buildings grew on the ruins.

There are many doors on the wall, each of which can lead to many families. Zhu qinzhan, the current tomb keeper, lives in one of the doors. Wu Guihua, Zhu qinzhan's wife, warmly welcomed us into the room with a simple and honest smile. She said that Zhu qinzhan picked out eggs to sell early in the morning.
