Hetou Village

Hetou village, located in the south of Fanshi, Longshan Town, Cixi City, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, is adjacent to huangyang'ao village in the East, pan'ao village in the west, Ningbo City and Zhenhai District in the north. The village is divided into three natural villages, with 1021 households and 2400 villagers. The village covers an area of 11436 mu, including 1657 mu of arable land and 8555 mu of mountainous land. The village is one of the largest gathering villages of Fang family name in China, so it is also called fangjiahetou village. It is the only ancient village cultural heritage in Cixi at present. It is also one of the few ancient villages with relatively complete preservation and high value in Ningbo. In 2003, it was named Cixi municipal historical and cultural reserve with "beautiful water, ancient trees and numerous Mingsheng relics".

Hetou Village

Hetou village is located in the downtown area of Yongkang City. Jiuling road and Lizhou Road pass through the village. East to Hardware City, South to Yongkang River, West to Lizhou mall, north to Lizhou North Road and Huaxi North Road resettlement area. It covers an area of about one square kilometer, with a population of 1202 and 520 households. They live in Shangmen village, Xiashimen village, Hedong road new village, Hetou new village, Wangchun community new village, Jiangcheng road new village, Lizhou North Road new village and Huaxi North Road new village.

Evolution of organizational system

Before liberation, Hetou village was called hedongfang. After liberation, chengnongfeng senior cooperative and Nongfeng brigade were renamed Hetou brigade in 1980 and Hetou village in 1986. They belong to Minzhu Town, Chengguan town and Guli town respectively. In 2000, the village was withdrawn and the Hetou economic cooperative was retained, belonging to Dongcheng Street. The members of Hetou economic cooperative are residents of sanchuantang neighborhood committee, Shuitou neighborhood committee and Ping'an neighborhood committee, and a small part of them are residents of satellite neighborhood committee.

Economic overview

Hetou village now has Hetou building, Jinduo building and Yintang building, which are for rent respectively. There is a Hetou activity center with an area of 1300 square meters and a stage and dance hall. There are eight houses for rent, and ten mu of land is reserved for cemetery.

Hetou village economic cooperative consists of 8 member groups (formerly 8 production teams). Since 2004, all residents (1202 people) have participated in the pension insurance for rural landless farmers. Since 1993, 422 male and female members over the age of 50 have received a monthly collective subsidy of 50 to 200 yuan respectively.
