Dayangshan port area

It is located on the North Bank of Dayangshan island in the west of Shengsi sea area. The northeast is 21.41 nautical miles away from the county seat, and the northwest is 18.9 nautical miles away from Shanghai Luchao port.

The total length of the coastline of Dayangshan island is 16697 meters (including 10214 meters of bedrock). The available coastline is 3200 meters, from shenggu'ao to Jiucheng shanzui. The front water depth is more than 20 meters, and the 10 meter isobath is 100-250 meters away from the shore. The basin is wide.

Xiaoyangshan port area

It is located on the South Bank of Xiaoyangshan island in the west of Shengsi sea area. It is 21.2 nautical miles away from the county seat, 16.2 nautical miles away from Luchao port in the northwest, and faces off Dayangshan island in the south.

The total length of the coastline of Xiaoyangshan island is 14210 meters (including 10213 meters of bedrock). The available coastline is 1700 meters at the foot of daguanyin mountain, from Nan'ao to laoyazui. The front 10 meters isobath is 250-300 meters away from the shore. By reclaiming land from the sea and connecting the islands, a large number of deep-water shorelines and land areas have been added. As an international shipping center of Shanghai, the deepwater port area started in April 2004, and the first phase of the project is planned to be completed in 2005. The annual throughput of containers will reach 2.2 million TEUs. Meanwhile, 1600 meters of berths will be built to reliably berth the fifth and sixth generation container ships or 8000 TEUs container standard ships. The water area of the port area is 3.167 million square meters, and the port area is 1.5965 million square meters.
