Shanhaiguan Jiaoshan scenic spot

Jiaoshan is the first peak of the Great Wall, also known as "the first mountain of the Great Wall". Qixian temple is built on the mountain, which is the place for literati to study and spend the summer in Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is known as the cradle of Shanhaiguan culture. The scenic area covers an area of 3 square kilometers, which combines natural mountain scenery. The essence of the Great Wall architecture is integrated with Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism culture. The cableway runs through it. It can take up enemy towers, rise and fall, and deep temples and wonders. The scenic spot has been successively named as "National Forest and geopark" by the Ministry of forestry and the Ministry of geology of the people's Republic of China. It is one of the first batch of national 4A scenic spots, Qinhuangdao patriotism education base, national cultural relics protection unit, world cultural heritage. Jiaoshan has four distinct seasons, spring flowers, summer green, autumn wind and winter snow. At present, there are many scenic spots such as Erlong Xizhu, natural Giant Buddha, Jiaoshan Great Wall site, Qixian temple, Dapingding, etc. You can also see Liaoshen plain in the East, five peaks of exhausted stones and Yansai Lake in the west, the blue sea in the South and the cliffs and rocks in the north. Jiaoshan scenic spot holds "outing Festival" and "Climbing Festival" in spring and autumn every year, which attracts a large number of Chinese and foreign tourists, meets people's good wishes of advocating and sharing nature, and creates considerable economic benefits for the scenic spot.
