Xiaoyingzhou, located in the middle of the West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is an island in the middle of the lake. Xiaoyingzhou legend has it that after Su Shi dredged the West Lake, he built three bottle shaped stone towers, named Santan, in the deep water of the lake. It was clearly ordered that the water from Su dike to here should not be planted with Gorgon to prevent lake mud from silting up. Yang Wanli, the magistrate of Qiantang County, took fenfeng mud as a ridge and built a release pond at the original three pagodas. The three pagodas were destroyed in the early Ming Dynasty. During the Wanli period, the magistrate of Qiantang County, named Nie Xintang, built an outer dike outside the release pool. During the Tianqi period, three bottle shaped stone pagodas were also rebuilt in the south of the pool. The three pagodas were about 2 meters high, forming a triangle of 62 meters on each side. At this time, xiaoyingzhou not only had a ring-shaped dike and a releasing pool in the dike, but also had an island in the pond. The ring dike was connected with the island from the east to the west, and the bridge from the north to the south. It was just like the word "Tian", forming the wonder of island in the lake and lake in the island.

Santan Yinyue garden was built in the 35th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1607 A.D.) by the accumulation of lake mud. In the fifth year of Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty (1727 A.D.), quqiao was connected to the north and south, and LiuDi was connected to the East and West. It covers an area of 7 hectares and is shaped like a field when viewed from above. It is famous for its water garden of "island in the lake, Lake in the island". There are pavilions, pavilions, buildings and platforms on the island, such as "Kaiwang", "Tingting", "Yingcui", "Xianfang" and "my heart is imprinted on each other". The stone bridges are zigzag, the leaky windows are far-reaching, the flowers and trees are sparse, and the reflection is blurred. Historical data

In 1607, Nie Xintang, the magistrate of Qiantang County, built a dam around the island by taking fennel mud from the lake. The lake in the lake was first built as a place for release. In the South Lake of the island, three large bottle shaped stone pagodas were rebuilt at the original Su Shi tower. In the early Qing Dynasty, quqiao and Tangxuan were built on the island. Along the inner lake, hibiscus was planted. After passing through Qingguang Xujian, Peng Yulin, a retired general, built a villa here. Xiaoyingzhou began to take shape. It is famous for its water garden of "island in the lake, Lake in the island". On the island, there are donglang Pavilion, yingcuixuan Pavilion, flower and bird hall, yubeiting Pavilion, yixianye Pavilion, xianfangtai Pavilion and Xianxian temple. Pavilions, pavilions, buildings, platforms, and stone bridges are full of twists and turns. The leaky windows are far-reaching, the flowers and trees are sparse, and the reflection is blurred.
