Youzishan scenic spot, Gaochun County, Nanjing City

More than 2000 years ago, in order to realize his political ideal, the rulers implemented "benevolent government" to the Bai family. Confucius led his disciples around the world and gave lectures. In his later years, he passed Gaochun and boarded Youzi mountain. In the year of Confucius' mountaineering, after the Wu Chu war, Confucius climbed the mountain and looked at Gaochun, where green mountains, green waters, lakes and mountains mingled, and the scenery was very beautiful. But at the foot of the mountain, the people are in dire need of living. In Tianlong and sangmo, there are white bones everywhere. The wounds of the Wu Chu war can be seen everywhere in this beautiful landscape. Looking back on his life, Confucius thought that the "benevolent government" advocated and pursued by toupei laodun could not be adopted by the rulers. He was filled with grief, anger and sorrow. His landscape was beautiful and he was just a stranger. He felt that he should return to his hometown and live a happy life. A few years later, Confucius died of depression in Qufu, Shandong Province. In memory of this sage, later generations named this mountain Youzi mountain. For thousands of years, there have been many tourists on the mountain, and Youzi mountain has become the holy mountain in the hearts of Gaochun people.

Dayou mountain, the main peak of Youzi mountain, is 188 meters above sea level. It is beautiful, with numerous pines and lush bamboos on the mountain. It has a charming scenery and is known as "the first beauty of LaiZhu". Not only did Confucius visit this place, but it is said that when jinqiaojue, the Bodhisattva of the Tibetan king, crossed the sea to promote Buddhism in China, he was also attracted by the green mountains and beautiful waters and came here to have a rest and visit. Gaochun people have always believed that the first place where dizang Bodhisattva came to China was Youzi mountain. .
