Baochuanchang Ruins Park

Located on the site of Longjiang shipyard 600 years ago, Baochuan site park is a large-scale Heritage Park invested and developed by Nanjing city to commemorate the 600th anniversary of Zheng He's voyages to the west, integrating tourism, commemoration, exhibition and leisure. The total investment is 600 million yuan. The first phase of the project was completed and opened in July 2005. Baochuan ruins park is located in Zhongbao village, Gulou District, west of the Yangtze River in Nanjing. The gate of Baochuan ruins is 16.52 meters wide and 10.82 meters high. On the horizontal plaque of the main gate, there are five big characters of "baochuanchang ruins" written by Wuzhong Qi, a famous calligrapher in China. Baochuan ruins park is composed of eight districts in the East, middle and West, covering a total area of about 280 mu. The first phase of the project is located in six scenic spots of the "theme park" in zhongpian, covering an area of 198 mu, of which the water surface accounts for more than one third. It will focus on the remaining four, five and six ponds. The six scenic spots in zhongpian mainly include: Zhenghe culture experience area on the North Bank of sizotang, which is composed of Zhenghe stele Gallery, Zhenghe culture wall, seven ancient ship models, and ancient Chinese envoys wall, etc., aiming to create a kind of artistic conception and space for tourists to experience and appreciate Zhenghe culture; navigation science and technology experience area on the North Bank of wuzuotang, which is composed of navigation science and technology sculpture, time Gallery column, navigation experience platform, and treasure boat parts carving The PENGCHANG workshop experience area on the North Bank of liuzuotang is composed of fine wood workshop, iron workshop, cable workshop, etc., which is intended to give visitors the experience of the production of Ming Dynasty treasure shipyard. In February 2020, in order to pay homage to the benevolence of doctors and praise the great love of the world, Nanjing Municipal Bureau of culture and tourism, together with Zhongshan Cemetery Administration, Nanjing Tourism Group and Nanjing Cultural Investment Group, issued an initiative to the cultural and tourism units in the city's tourist attractions, museums and so on, to implement a free visit policy and provide a series of free and intimate services for all medical workers across the country.
