Shanghai Auto Expo Park

Shanghai Auto Expo Park is built around the Shanghai Auto Museum. It is located in the south of the core trade zone of Shanghai International Auto City. It is adjacent to Moyu South Road in the West and Gongyuan road in the north. Two rivers, wenzaobang and Wusong River, flow through the park respectively.

Shanghai Auto Expo Park is a comprehensive park with the theme of auto entertainment, auto exhibition and auto culture, with a total construction area of 768000 square meters. In September 2015, at the initiative of China tourist attractions Association, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Shanghai signed a promise of "no increase in ticket prices".

Scenic spot design

The design features are mainly reflected in three aspects: the park has the appearance of natural landscape garden. The traditional landscape pattern of "South Lake and North Mountain" forms the space environment of "mountains build momentum with lakes, water flows through mountains and lives". Specifically, mountains, water systems, islands, wetlands, green space, waterfront constitute the park's diversified structural framework, fully express nature, shape nature, restore nature, and reestablish a harmonious and unified relationship among land, mountains, Lake slopes, animals and plants. The park is divided into exhibition area and leisure area. The exhibition area is located in the west, forming a relatively concentrated garden type exhibition public area; the leisure area is located in the East, which is not only the main space for sightseeing, but also the concentrated embodiment of automobile theme culture.

Main attractions

The theme of the park is the developed areas of automobile industry. The park is divided into five parks: "China Park", "American Park", "British Park", "Japanese Park" and "European Park". The buildings with local characteristics are built respectively.

The sightseeing and leisure area is composed of three parts: natural landscape park, national style park and automobile culture theme park. Through the expression of different architectural styles and different traditional gardening methods and landscaping elements in China, the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Japan, Italy and other countries, the automobile parks in the park show the unique landscape characteristics of automobile countries. The combination of various and colorful landscapes with automobile exhibitions in various countries makes automobile culture and garden landscape culture closely linked and complement each other, giving people rich experience.
