Located on the Bank of Xuanwu Lake, Nanjing Planning and construction exhibition hall integrates fruit exhibition, cultural publicity, exchange and research, popular science education, leisure and tourism. architectural composition

The main building area of Nanjing Planning Exhibition Hall is 23655 square meters, with one floor underground and three floors above ground. On the first floor, the preface hall is about 1800 square meters, and the temporary exhibition hall is about 3000 square meters; on the second floor, the history hall and planning hall are about 5000 square meters; on the second and third floor, the sand table is about 1200 square meters; on the third floor, there are theme exhibition halls and conference centers.

Through "one axis (the time axis of Nanjing's construction and development) and two scenes (the picture of human and material cultural heritage), this paper comprehensively and vividly shows the general picture of Nanjing, highlights the status of the city, and depicts the characteristics of the city. The skylight on the top of the preface hall is natural and comfortable. The image wall of the whole city is 15 meters high and magnificent. The temporary exhibition hall (first floor) focuses on government achievements, academic achievements, college students' innovation and entrepreneurship achievements, cultural heritage and art works, industry-leading technological achievements, social public welfare activities, etc.

History Hall

By depicting the landscape of the city, the vicissitudes of the city, the long-standing cultural essence and the long-standing urban life, this paper records and displays the classical architectural forms, people's life and foreign cultural exchanges in different historical periods, and highlights the achievements and status of Nanjing's 2500 years of urban construction.

Planning Department

Combined with the urban function orientation of Nanjing, this paper summarizes the planning deployment and development trend of building Nanjing into an eastern central city, a comprehensive transportation hub and a livable riverside city, and focuses on the latest planning results of Nanjing's overall urban planning, the overall design of key areas and various special plans.

Master plan sand table

The total planning sand table model is about 1200 square meters, with a ratio of 1:1800. The sand table film interacts with the total planning model, and the light and shadow are interlaced.
