Yongshu Park (Yongshu Road)

Yongshu park is located on the North Bank of Enjiang River in Yongfeng county. It was built in 1997 to commemorate the 990 anniversary of the birth of Ouyang Xiu, a famous writer, historian and politician of the Northern Song Dynasty. It is named after Ouyang Xiu's word "Yongshu".

The park mainly includes Ouyang Xiu memorial hall, zuiwang Pavilion, Liuyi Pavilion, Zhixi Pavilion, longgangqian tablet Pavilion, Ouyang Xiu statue and other buildings; built along the river barrier, excavated the park lake, piled rockery, built stone path ancient road, paved lawn, planted camphor, Magnolia, osmanthus, cypress, Holly and other valuable tree species. In 2007, in order to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of Ouyang Xiu's birth, two new statues, namely "Huadi Jiaozi" and "literary world leader", and new scenic spots, such as cultural corridor, memorial stele corridor and viewing platform, were added. In addition, the ancient simple and elegant zhuangyuanlou (Song Dynasty) and the majestic Baoen Temple Pagoda (Ming Dynasty) are located between them, showing the rich cultural heritage.
