Located at No.72, Huangxing North Road, Changsha City, the Christian Church of Beizheng street, formerly known as the Trinity Hall of the Chinese Episcopal Church, is a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit and a modern protected building in Hunan Province. It was built in 1905, destroyed in 1910, rebuilt in 1911 and completed in 1915. After liberation, it was used as match warehouse of Changsha Department store and celebration center of Xiangcai company. It was restored on December 20, 2004.
North Main Street Christian Church is a typical Gothic architecture, designed by Dr. Meng Liangzuo (Bishop). The church faces east and West, with a building area of 703.09 m2 and a Latin cross layout. The church has a large block of stone masonry, solid structure and rough appearance, which is the only existing stone church in Changsha. Huang Xing, the leader of the 1911 Revolution, once took refuge here. On the inner wall of the gate, there are still inscriptions inscribed by Huang Xing in 1912: "the holy name of Jesus, the sincerity of worship, the inferiority of the superior and the salvation of the world.".
