Mufu Mountain National Forest Park is located in the middle and upper part of the main peak of Mufu mountain, with a total area of 1701 hectares and an altitude of 1606 meters. It is the first peak on the border of Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi provinces. Mufu mountain is famous for its majestic mountains, dangerous cliffs, strange rocks, beautiful forests and beautiful waters. In the park, there are undulating mountains, tall and graceful peaks, birds singing and apes singing, secluded ancient temples, high mountains and grasslands, reflecting each other, clouds and misty seas, unpredictable changes, strange pines and rocks, wonderful life, celebrity inscriptions and calendar still exist It constitutes Zhong lingyuxiu's natural scenery and unique human landscape.

Development history

On August 31, 2006, with the approval of the State Forestry Administration, Mufushan forest park became one of the first national forest parks authorized to use the special signs of national forest parks in China. Zhang Zhen, former vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, inscribed the name of the park.

In recent years, the park has made full use of its own advantages to build a peak climbing area, laolonggou Waterfall Scenic Area, liushui'an alpine grassland sightseeing belt and other scenic spots, and developed and established a famous high-quality anti season pollution-free vegetable base in central and southern China. At the same time, the park's tourism service facilities are constantly improving, and the hotel, hotel, shopping center, comprehensive recreation and health care and other supporting service facilities are also improving day by day. In 2005, there were more than 50000 tourists. The park is 160 km away from Changsha, 90 km away from Yueyang and 240 km away from Wuhan. It can also be seen in Guangdong and Shanghai.

Mufu mountain is rich in human culture and a collection of immortals and Taoism. It is revered by Taoism as the 25th Dongtian of the eastern earth and is called "XuanZhen Taiyuan heaven". history

Mufu mountain was called Tianyue mountain in ancient times. During the Three Kingdoms period, Wu taishici was the commander of Jianchang. He refused Liu Biao to follow zipan and set up camp on the top of the mountain, so it was renamed Mufu mountain. Yueyang is named for its ancient Prefecture, Zengzhou, which is located in the south of Tianyue mountain.
