Shichengshan Forest Park is located in Hengjiang Town, Yibin County, Sichuan Province. The total area is 5500 mu, of which the forest area is more than 4100 mu.

The fragrance is everywhere. The plants in the park originally belong to evergreen broad-leaved forest area, with a variety of species, mostly including Lauraceae, Fagaceae and other wet loving broad-leaved trees. During the period of the Republic of China, the garrison deforested trees to make a sound for the army, causing serious damage. In the early 1950s, the timber forest based on coniferous tree species was constructed. There are more than 30 rare tree species, such as framed bucket, camphor, red bean, Castanea henryi, etc.; there are more than 30 scattered tree species, such as Phoebe, Zhenyu, mashuo, Schima superba, Tanmu, etc.; shrubs, such as Camellia oleifera, Rhododendron, mujiangyu, tiezi, etc.; there are more than 10 kinds of bamboo species, such as Zhuzhu, Shuizhu, kuzhu, huameizhu, Neosinocalamus affinis, among which there are 32500 Phoebe; herbs, such as fengweie, sanzaozang, bamao, Lanhua, etc.; and Gastrodia elata, Jinzhu, etc There are more than 40 kinds of Chinese medicinal materials, such as Flos Lonicerae, Radix Bupleuri, Radix Ophiopogonis and Radix Ophiopogonis. The whole park integrates natural landscape and cultural landscape. The main scenic spots are: Yushi cave and Yushi temple built in Ming Dynasty outside the cave, 3000 meter long ancient plank road flying in the air, Diecui lake with nearly 100 mu water surface, and "invisible Buddha" standing on the top cliff, which is about 70 meters high and has the charm of artificial carving.

history

Shi Dakai, the wing king of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, personally led his troops to Yibin twice: in June 1862, the wing King captured Changning County, and at the same time, he divided his troops to control the nearby strongholds, including part of Yibin's territory, and prepared to use them as bases to cross the Yangtze River. In July, due to the emergency of the Qing troops, it was difficult to cross the river, so they took the initiative to evacuate. In November 1862, when Yiwang entered Sichuan for the third time, he occupied Hengjiang town in Yibin and wanted to use it as a base for crossing Jinsha River. In January of the next year, he was forced to retreat to Yunnan because of the defeat of Hengjiang decisive battle. Therefore, Yibin and its surrounding areas have left a large number of legends about the remains of the Yiwang expeditionary army, shidakai gate is one of them

Shicheng mountain forest park is located in Hengjiang Town, Yibin County, 51 kilometers away from Yibin City. It has a subtropical humid monsoon climate, with an altitude of 860-1110 meters. Shicheng mountain is as strong as a sandal, and it is like a city. The cliffs around it are hundreds of feet, and the running water is winding. From the 130 meter high cliff, the waterfall falls down. Climb the Wansong tower, and you can see the forest sea from afar, There are still ruins of ancient battlefields, shidakai gate and so on.
