Chengdu Dongmen city wall site is located in qinglianshangjie, near the site stands Liushahe writing tablet. The Dongmen city wall site in Chengdu is a remnant of the wall restored after 2005. Qinglianshangjie is located at the intersection of Fuhe River and Nanhe River, which is the southeast corner of the old Chengdu City. Before the urban reconstruction, we can also see a small part of the ruins of the old city wall in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, including the "horse face" protruding outward. It is said that when the ancient city wall was built, in order to increase the shooting area of the enemy who attacked the city with arrows, a half side blockhouse building protruding from the city wall was built at intervals outside the city wall, commonly known as "horse face". When the ruins of the remnant wall are restored, the remaining part of the "horse face" can also be reproduced.
