Located in the center of Yishui County, it is located on Donggao ridge of Yishui. It is named after the night photo of Donggao, one of the eight scenic spots of Yishui. It is adjacent to Zhengyang Road in the south, Jiankang road in the north, Chang'an Road in the East, and the prosperous central street in the West. It echoes with Yihe Park and wetland park around the city, covering a total area of more than 600 mu. There are many cultural relics and historic sites, such as "Donggao evening photo", "touliang card", "big and small Wenfeng tower" and so on. It is a natural oxygen bar with superior location, convenient transportation, dense vegetation and beautiful environment.

Development history

In 1986, the CPC Yishui County Committee and government decided to change Dongling orchard into Donggao park. Donggao Park covers an area of 33.3 hectares. The project was started on September 1, 1987 and completed on September 1, 1988. By 1999, the infrastructure has been continuously improved. The park has built east gate, South Gate, qishiyuan, children's paradise, artificial lake, monkey mountain, deer hall, bird Pavilion, amusement center, pavilion, maze and other parts. In the northeast corner of the park, a statue of Li Kui fighting a tiger was also carved in marble.

In 1998, the construction of Wenfeng tower in Donggao was started (at the original Yuhuang Pavilion, the highest point of the park). The tower is 11 stories and 56.8 meters high. In December 1999, the main project of Wenfeng tower was completed. Asphalt ring road is laid for 1556 meters. More than 140 kinds of flowers and trees and more than 100000 plants have been planted. For nine years in a row, the Lantern Exhibition and the six hundred bird competitions have been successfully held. There are dozens of children's toys, such as swing, slide, electric swimming plane, etc. The park has become a good place for people to rest.

In 2014, Donggao Park successfully completed the new planning and construction, expanded the facilities construction in the park, increased and improved many places for people to play, such as badminton court, zoo, amusement City, etc. It has really become a good place for the people after dinner.

There are many lakes in Donggao Park, and each has its own name, quiet and elegant, such as Shuying lake, Jinyue lake and so on. The natural and cultural atmosphere is more and more rich.
