Guanxiangshan Park

Guanxiangshan Park, formerly known as Shuidao mountain, is 78.9 meters above sea level and covers an area of 6.25 hectares. Later, it was named because of the construction of a weather station. It is planned to be a park with popular science education of astronomy and meteorology as its main content, a regional park in Shinan District, and a high-rise view point for opening to the outside world.

The whole park is divided into five areas: climbing overlooking point, children's activity area, flower viewing area, cultural rest area and sports activity area. Planning opinions: 1. Entrance and road: there are four entrances, one on Guanxiang No.2 Road, one on Guanxiang No.1 Road, one on Yucheng road and one on Pingyuan road. With Guanxiang No.2 road as the main entrance, there is a round stone arch, and a stone wall picture with the theme of "Chang'e rushes to the moon" beside it. The road is paved with feldspar strips, the main road is 3 meters wide, and the sightseeing road is 1.5 meters wide. The square at the top of the mountain is all paved with square stones. 2、 Garden architecture and sculpture: a popular science room of astronomy and meteorology will be built in the high view area, with many exhibition rooms to display the exhibits of popular science of astronomy and meteorology. The atomic meridian stake was transformed into a longitude measurement monument, and the original bungalow with theodolite was restored. A memorial building is also built in the longitude measuring room of the meteorological observatory. The peak square is set with the theme of astronomy and meteorology, reflecting the stone carving of compass, one of the "four great inventions" in ancient China. In the former playground of Shanbei, there is a children's activity area with windmills, slides, swings, swing chairs and other children's entertainment facilities, and a "labyrinth" is set up by using the terrain. The elderly activity area is located in Shanxi side, with the elderly activity room as the main building. The flower viewing area is located at the entrance of Guanxiang No.1 Road, which is a south facing slope. It is planned to build a small greenhouse, open up a land flower exhibition area and build a flower display shed.
