Fengling Park

Fengling park is the only comprehensive park in Hebi City, which integrates culture and entertainment, flowers and plants, and animal appreciation. It was built in 1959.

geographical environment

Fengling park is located in the southwest corner of Shancheng District of Hebi City, west of Shancheng road and south of Chaoxia street. Covering an area of 31.3 hectares (470 mu), it is 18 kilometers away from Hebi new district. With superior geographical location and convenient transportation, it is the only comprehensive park integrating culture and entertainment, flowers and plants, and animal appreciation in Hebi City. Thousands of people come to the park to do morning exercises and walk birds every day, with an annual passenger flow of 400000.

Fengling park makes full use of the terrain in the park, adapts measures to local conditions, creates scenery according to the mountain, digs the lake in the East, buries the mountain for afforestation in the West. The plants in the park are arbor, shrub, flower and grass, and the landscape level is changeable in four seasons. It organically integrates the landscape and architectural plants, forming a modern park with rich sightseeing contents and beautiful environment. Fengling park is full of emerald pines and cypresses, colorful flowers, dense shade, green everywhere, beautiful scenery, pleasant scenery and colorful. The garden landscape has attracted a large number of tourists to visit here, and has become a beautiful scenic line among many tourist attractions in Hebi City.

Development history

Since its establishment in 1959, with the concern and attention of the government's urban construction departments and the joint efforts of the garden staff, 13 scenic spots have been built, including Mingxuan, fushuanyilian, danxinbiyi, Yingtan lawn, yulonggu water park, dijuqiu square, Peony Pavilion, mural square, bird's-eye Pavilion, zoo, artificial Lake, Furong Park and Longgang Shiyuan.

Main attractions

Fengling Mingxuan

The garden is decorated with old trees, green bamboos, roses and peonies. It is a resting place for visitors to talk, write poems, taste tea, chat and do their best.

Yingtan lawn

Located in the middle of the park, it has a wide area. In the north, there are clumps of red maple and Albizia, and tall trees such as cedar and locust. In front of the trees, there are holly, crape myrtle, peach and apricot. In the East and West, there are stone tables and stone benches under the trees. In the south of the lawn, there are "bodybuilding" sculptures. It is an ideal place for tourists to take photos, fly kites and rest.

Bird's-eye view Pavilion

It is located at the top of the western mountain, and is the commanding height of the country. It is simple and magnificent in shape, with white pillars flying angle, green glazed tiles, and acacia, green cypress matching, which makes it more magnificent and spectacular. Looking from the threshold, you can have a panoramic view of the hundred mile coal city, which makes you relaxed and happy, and the pride doubled.

Man-made lake

Located in the east of the garden, there is an island in the middle of the lake, and an arch bridge in the north. There are maple, peach, apricot and weeping willows planted on the bank. Boating on the lake, you can see the willows nearby. It's colorful and fragrant. From a distance, you can see the Xiling mountains, the pavilions reflect the light, and the green cypresses are luxuriant.

The Peony Pavilion

Located on the south side of Yingtan lawn is a group of European style buildings. Pavilions, platforms and pavilions are reflected among shrubs such as peony, peony and rose. When you climb the pavilions, you can see the beautiful scenery of Fengling as soon as possible.

zoo

Located in the south of the park, it is the only zoo in Hebi City. At present, there are more than 100 ornamental animals, such as tiger, lion, bear, sika deer, crane, swan and peacock.

Lotus paradise

Located in the west of the park, it has introduced a wide variety of amusement facilities to meet the needs of the general public by drawing on the method of "laying eggs by borrowing chickens" from other places. It is a paradise for the common people, with more than 20 kinds of amusement facilities, such as high-altitude sightseeing vehicles, crazy mice, self-control aircraft, children's trains, bumper cars, swivel chairs, etc.

Activities organized

On October 20, 2011, the 26th Chrysanthemum Exhibition of Shancheng District opened in Fengling park. It is understood that the exhibition lasted for 15 days, with more than 50 companies participating in the exhibition, displaying more than 25000 pots of chrysanthemum of more than 10 varieties.
