Delong Temple

Delong temple is located about 30km northeast of Labrang temple in Xiahe County. It belongs to wanggetang of Xiahe County. It will pass by on the road from Lanzhou to Xiahe. In front of the temple, there is the Daxia river flowing through, and the mountain forest around the temple is dense, which is magnificent from a distance. Every June, lilac flowers will bloom around the temple, with pleasant fragrance and elegant environment.

Delong Temple

Derlong temple, also known as Shagou temple, is fully known as "derlong Yiga quseng forest". It is located five kilometers southwest of wanggetang Township, Xiahe County. It is said that around the third year of raomalunnian (1184, the 11th year of Chunxi in the Southern Song Dynasty, Jiachen) in the Tibetan calendar, majula Zhong's disciples lived in the area around Xiahe County, practicing and preaching Dharma in the valley beside the Daxia river. About the beginning of the year of Mulong, majula Zhong and her disciples had a pure wish to promote Dafa and benefit all living beings in the future, so they accumulated a lot of scriptures Tuoyinduojiesange, the eldest disciple of majula Zhong, made the "Fu Zang" vase. Tuoyinsangzhou, the younger disciple, sealed the vase with a cover. Dunde ogwangxiu wrote the "Fu Zang" Scripture, which was finally sealed by majula Zhong himself. On March 10 of the lunar calendar in the year of Mani, Maju lazhong led her disciples and attendants to carry many scriptures and magic tools to "hide" in yarmohelung Valley (today's derlong Valley). After burying "hide" in a rock that looks like the belly of Bulu King Kong, their disciples faced the king of Dharma and the practice of protecting Dharma in all directions, showing all kinds of supernatural powers and expressing their admiration for "hide" in the future He made a prediction.

After a period of time, some monks of the Zhigong Gaju sect came here to practice. Nian bolajie, the local michyana yogi in xiguo'er village, was supposed to be a disciple of Zhigong RenQian sangbao. Later, according to the orders of the guru, he built a small temple called "Der Temple" at the site of the monks' practice in 1222 ad.

In 1558, Bo shijiamu took part in the derlong temple, merged the prawang monastery and Dazong monastery into the derlong temple, and converted them into Gelug monastery, building a sutra hall with a capacity of 500 people. After the first month of 1718, Jiamuyang came to the derlong Valley, where he dug out Fu Zang and ordered his disciple saicang erwangzhaxi to preside over the temple. From then on, the derlong temple was presided over by saicang living Buddha.

In the early days of liberation, there were more than 60 monks. The temple was demolished during the cultural revolution, and the Sutra hall was restored in 1981. There are more than 30 monks now.
