Gongjia island is rich in animal and plant resources
There are abundant species of zooplankton in the sea area near Gongjia island. According to the survey data of Rushan marine and Fishery Bureau, there are 49 species of phytoplankton in 24 genera, 20 species of zooplankton, 27 species of intertidal plants and 44 species of intertidal animals. The coastal reef area is rich in aquatic resources, and the yield of clam, oyster, cauliflower and other economic species is high.
