Dalian yinggeshi Botanical Garden

Dalian yinggeshi botanical garden is located in yinggeshi village, longwangtang street, Lvshun, Dalian. Its geographical coordinates are 121 ° 21 '30 E and 38 ° 53' 50 n. It is the first comprehensive botanical garden invested by private enterprises in China. The park was founded in 2003 and officially opened in April 2014. The park covers an area of 95.57 hectares.

Dalian yinggeshi botanical garden is located in yinggeshi village, longwangtang street, high tech Industrial Park, Dalian high tech Industrial Park. It was founded in 2003. Relying on the unique geographical and natural conditions, it employs the internationally famous landscape designer, Junichiro Inada, and David Patterson, the Deputy garden of Edinburgh Royal Botanical Garden, as the guidance. After 11 years of joint efforts of yinggeshi botanical garden team, Dalian yinggeshi botanical garden was officially opened in April 2014.

Covering an area of 95.57 hectares, the garden introduces and collects 3021 species of plants belonging to 365 genera and 126 families, ranking first among all botanical gardens in Northeast China. It is a comprehensive botanical garden integrating plant scientific research, science popularization and leisure tourism.

Introduction to scenic spots

Central lawn Plaza

The central lawn flower square, covering an area of 45 mu, was designed and completed by British horticultural designer David Patterson. High quality grass seeds are selected for the lawn, and the flower glasses set around Hanxi are composed of arbors, shrubs, perennial flowers and herbaceous flowers, with clear layers, reflecting superb horticultural techniques, which is a major characteristic landscape of yinggeshi botanical garden.

Haitang Garden

There are 4000 plants and 25 varieties of crabapple in the park, including Chinese traditional Xifu crabapple, chuisi crabapple, American strawberry jelly, prairie fire, North American crabapple, etc. The crabapple in the park is mainly concentrated in the crabapple garden, and also distributed in other locations. The design theme of Begonia Garden is "sky earth sky". It runs through the whole Begonia Garden through 200 meters long and 7 meters wide steps. Standing under the steps, visitors can enjoy the colorful Begonia falling from the sky like a woman in the sky. Begonia flower posture natural and unrestrained, blooming like brocade, since ancient times is a popular flower, known as "Flower Fairy", "flower princess".

Garden art exhibition area

The garden art exhibition area is a garden art exhibition area, which imitates Buchart garden in Canada by using the gardening technology of English garden. There are 180 kinds of perennial flowers and 50 kinds of annual flowers, which are arranged in the form of flower border and stacked in multiple layers, just like Huashan Huagu.

Peony Garden

In the garden, there are 9 major color lines, 120 varieties, more than 60000 peonies, and more than 20000 peony accessions. It is the largest peony exhibition in Northeast China. In terms of configuration, it is divided into nine color bands, nine color blocks and mixed color blocks. Standing on the Peony Pavilion, the highest viewing point of the whole garden, the peony garden is like a rainbow flying down to the world. Peony is an inherent specialty flower in China. It has thousands of years of natural growth and more than 2000 years of artificial cultivation history. It is known as "the rich and noble of flowers". Its flowers are big, beautiful, colorful and fragrant, which are praised by people of all ages.

Lotus Garden

In the garden art exhibition area, tens of acres of lotus flowers bloom from July to August. They come out of the mud without dyeing, clean the ripples without demons, straight from the middle to the outside, with no branches, clear fragrance, and are planted in pavilions. According to the ecological habits of different plants, the herb garden is divided into sunny area, shady area, moist area and aquatic area. The overall design reflects the basic ideas and principles of Chinese classical philosophy, Chinese unique traditional medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, while the details reflect the pharmacology and efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine. The whole garden has a good ecological environment with towering trees. It's a good place to cool off in hot summer!

Peach Garden

Yinggeshi botanical garden has more than 20 peach varieties and nearly 5000 plants, which are mainly distributed in peach blossom Valley and peach blossom garden, and distributed in other parts of the garden. The peach blossoms in the botanical garden are colorful. From a distance, it seems that a large piece of morning glow from the sky reflects the whole botanical garden.
