Zibo art museum is one of the largest private museums in Shandong Province. It is located in Wangyue tower, a famous scenic spot in Zhoucun. It is a museum with rich collection, high exhibition level and local characteristics. It has an exhibition area of more than 3000 square meters and a collection of thousands of cultural relics. The museum area has a beautiful environment, magnificent temples and a wide range of cultural relics.

Development history

In order to fully display the historical and cultural features and cultural relics of Qilu, carry out traditional culture and patriotism education, with the support of Zhoucun District Party committee, district government and superior business departments, through various coordination and hard work, the first art museum in Shandong Province was established on the 100th anniversary of Zhoucun port opening in September 2004.

Collection

There are ceramic art, stone carving art, bronze art, Buddha and jade art, calligraphy and painting art and modern art in the museum's fixed exhibition hall. There are many national treasure level cultural relics in the collection. There are rare bronze Buddha statues more than one meter high. The Buddha sits on his knees, warm and kind in shape. There are fish dragon screens with eight immortals and Tenglong painted on them, and the Dragon scales are made of gold It is a special product for the royal family of the Qing Dynasty. There is also a jade dress that is hard to see in an ordinary Museum, and a valuable red sky ball bottle in the glaze of the early Qing Dynasty. The museum also collects the authentic works of famous contemporary calligraphers and painters, such as Qigong. These treasures vividly show the difficult footprints and great contributions of our Chinese nation in developing civilization; auxiliary exhibition rooms mainly hold thematic exhibitions of various kinds of calligraphy and painting, photography, handicrafts, etc.
