Tianjin Youth Park

Tianjin Youth Park is a small park with the theme of youth and youth. It is located in the west of TEDA Youth Palace, covering an area of 8420 square meters. It was started in May 1997 and completed in October of the same year, with more than 20 plant species. There are statues of Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, Sun Yat Sen, Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi and Deng Xiaoping in the park. It is an activity site for young people to carry out history education and patriotism education. It embodies the unity of "environment and thought" and the design intention of human need for peace.

The youth park is adjacent to TEDA Youth Palace in the East and Xiaoyuan road in the south. 8420 square meters, including 7600 square meters of green space, 800 square meters of roads and squares. Considering the convenience for visitors to enter the garden, the circular layout of the garden road can reach the sculpture square, the central part of the garden from all aspects. The sculpture square displays the sculptures of ten great men, where young people can not only do small gatherings, but also recall the achievements of great men and talk freely about their ideals in life. In terms of plant configuration, the garden combines irrigation with forest, and has a reasonable layout. It not only takes into account the shade of trees and the effect of avoiding the sun to create a quiet environment for visitors, but also arranges a variety of flowering shrubs to highlight colors and create a lively atmosphere. The whole garden adopts natural planting, and it is divided into several big lawns by circular garden road. The artificial community is used to form open landscape such as sparse forest grassland and open grassland, and the artistic technique of alternating opening and closing and the combination of virtual and real is used to obtain the change of spatial sequence, so as to achieve the landscape effect of moving step by step and winding path. There are seats with Western classical garden style under the trees, which are in harmony with the style of the whole garden, and also create a quiet and elegant place for visitors to rest and talk.

Youth garden is a comprehensive campus magazine in charge of the Youth League Committee of Shandong University. It is the Journal of Shandong University.
