Ming Tombs - Changling

Located at the southern foot of the main peak of Tianshou mountain, the Changling Mausoleum of the Ming Dynasty is the joint burial Mausoleum of Zhu Di, the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty, and the empress Xu. In the Ming Tombs, the scale of the building is the largest, the construction time is the earliest, and the ground buildings are the best preserved. It is the ancestral Mausoleum of the Ming Tombs and one of the most important tourist attractions in the mausoleum area.

The main part of the mausoleum, the mausoleum palace, was built in 1409 A.D. and completed in 1427 A.D. It covers an area of 120000 square meters. The main building is Baocheng, about 300 meters in diameter, which is filled with loess. The central uplift is called Baoding, under which is the tomb of the mausoleum.

1. Take the 345 branch line from Deshengmen West Station to Dongguan intersection of Changping and turn to 314 road;

2. Take No. 881 at Deshengmen West Station and turn to No. 314 at the intersection of Changping Dongguan
