Introduction to scenic spots

Taizihe park is located in the east of Liaoyang City, with a total length of 9 kilometers and a width of 700-1100 meters from east to west. It takes "beautiful water, green vein and beautiful city" as the principle and "ecology, sports and tourism" as the main functions. It is a tourism landscape belt integrating tourism, leisure and entertainment, science education and other functions. According to the records of the historian, Taizihe was called "Yanshui" in ancient times. In 227 BC, the king of Qin took the assassination of Jingke, who was sent by Prince Dan of Yan, as an excuse and raised his troops to attack Yan. After the defeat of the state of Yan, taizidan and his father, yanwangxi, led the remnant soldiers to retreat to Xiangping. Under the circumstances of the Qin army's relentless pursuit and the imminent demise of the state of Yan, yanwangxi fancied that he would use his son's head to apologize to the king of Qin in exchange for the survival of the state of Yan. In the early winter of 226 B.C., on the Bank of Yanshui, the decaying grass, crown prince YAN Dan came to the end of his life with all kinds of helplessness and extreme humiliation. Since then, the tragic life of Prince Dan has formed a lingering complex in people's hearts, and deeply integrated into the long river of memory, so "Yanshui" is gradually called prince river. Taizi River is the mother river of Liaoyang City. For thousands of years, it has been flowing quietly, blessing people and moistening thousands of acres of fertile land. Taizihe scenic belt is built with sports square, flood control Memorial Tower Square, trestle, wharf, water stand and other scenic spots. With beautiful environment, fresh air, long grass, and shallow fish, it is an ideal place for visitors to experience Liaoyang's long history, culture and modern life.
