Xiqiang Grand Canyon

Xiqiang Grand Canyon is located in Yanmen Township, Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province, 150 kilometers away from Chengdu. It is the largest canyon in Western China. This is a narrow valley with a total length of more than 30 kilometers from east to west. The divine power of nature has formed a rare and peculiar natural landscape in the valley. In the scenic area, snow mountains, strange peaks, strange rocks, secluded valleys, forests and beautiful waters are integrated. The gorge is 400 meters high, majestic and magnificent. There is Yanmen pass at the mouth of the Grand Canyon. Yanmen cliff is near the river. There is a plank road in ancient times, and its danger is known. Looking down at the Minjiang River on the road today, it is turbulent and frightening. There is a horseshoe mark on the dune of Duihe. It is said that it was trodden by Huang Zhong, the general of the Three Kingdoms. And then there is Huang Sheng pass. There are two mounds of earth near the pass. It is said that Zhou Cang, a famous general of the Three Kingdoms, fought with Jiang Wei. At this point, he blocked the Yanmen gate with his back stone and took off his boots to dump the sand. Then he became a hill, which looks like a bamboo shoot breaking through the earth and pierces the blue sky.
