Time: 2022-01-29 12:23:04 Author: ChinaWiki.net

Located at the south foot of Shoushan mountain, Kaohsiung martyr's temple has a magnificent and beautiful view of Kaohsiung harbor and Kaohsiung City. The original site of the martyr's shrine was the jindaobiro shrine built by the Japanese. When Taiwan was restored in the 34th year of the Republic of China, in order to remember the heroic deeds of the heroes of the revolutionary martyrs, the government made some improvements to the original shrine, which served as a place to worship the heroes of the national army.

Zhonglie temple is surrounded by ancient pines. The environment is quiet. The front of the temple is green and antique. The building is built in the traditional palace style of China. In addition to the front hall, main hall and Mountain Gate, there is a corridor platform behind it. The roof is made of golden glazed tiles, and the roof is equipped with immortals and animals. Later, memorial archways and revolutionary martyrs historical records data center were set up one after another to add some solemn and grand momentum to the martyrs' Shrine.

The whole hall is full of solemnity and leisure atmosphere. During the day, it is a good place for Kaohsiung citizens to enjoy the cool scenery. At night, it is also a good place to enjoy the night scenery of Kaohsiung City and port.

Martyr's temple in Kaohsiung

The former site of the martyrs' Shrine in Kaohsiung is a shrine in the Japanese era. In 1976, it was rebuilt into a northern palace style martyrs' Shrine. Its archway is almost the same as the "martyrs' shrine of the national revolution" in Yuanshan, Taipei. It turns out that it is another martyrs' Shrine modeled after the "martyrs' shrine of the national revolution".
