Yuanbaoshan Park

The main peak of Yuanbaoshan, 181.2 meters above sea level, is the highest peak in the city. The forest in the garden is verdant and the ancient trees are towering. There are Baoguang temple, blissful temple, Baolong temple, luzuting temple and other temple buildings, which are full of fragrance; there is a mountain road leading to the top of the mountain, which can enjoy the panoramic view of Dandong City.

Yuanbao mountain is like an inverted Yuanbao. It is 181.8 meters above sea level and covers an area of 1.2 square kilometers. It has a shady slope and steep cliffs. On the sunny slope, it is slightly relaxed. When you climb to the top of the mountain, you can see the tiger ear mountain on the left, the Jinjiang mountain and the Maokui mountain on the right, the Yalu River winding in front, and the Wulong mountain standing behind. You can have a panoramic view of the urban area, and you can see the Korean Sinuiju vividly. The ancient trees are green and the flowers are falling. It's a scene of spring. The "Yellow Sea Pearl" modern revolving sightseeing tower on the top of the mountain (the "Yellow Sea Pearl" tower) adds a fashionable flavor to the ancient city park.

Development history

Yuanbaoshan was built as a park in 1911. At that time, there were more than ten temples at the foot of Yuanbao mountain, including luzu temple, Guandi temple, Yaowang temple, Tianhou temple, Sanguan temple, Bixia palace, Jiuling palace, zushi temple, Huo temple, etc. the temple platform was high and magnificent. In particular, Tianhou Palace (now known as Baoguang Temple), which covers an area of more than 20 mu, has a large stage in front of it. On the day of temple fair, it is full of traffic and merchants, which is unprecedented. It is a popular and prosperous place at the beginning of Anton's port opening.

Yuanbaoshan park has 175 mu of forest transformation area, and more than 6000 trees are planned to be intercropped. One phoenix wood forest (summer view), one Jacaranda forest (summer view), one Tiedao wood forest (autumn flower) and one tiedongqing mixed forest (winter view) with an area of 35 Mu will be built, and one Mulan garden with an area of 35 Mu will be built.
