It is the smallest Park in Changchun at present. At the end of the 19th century, this area was a natural village outside Changchun. The village was called Xinghua village. At that time, there was a gurgling stream in the middle. In 1901, Wang Changchi, the governor of Changchun Government, took office and bought Xinghua village for reconstruction. In 1903, Wang's staff wrote a story of Xinghua village in order to praise their superiors, and set up a stone tablet, which is located on the west side of the courtyard of No.1 democracy street. In 1934, the puppet Manchuria emperor Puyi held a grand ceremony to ascend the throne. The first thing I did that day was to go to Xinghua Village: "sacrifice to heaven" and "tell Heaven ceremony". After the liberation of Changchun, with the expansion of the scale of urban construction, the stone tablet of Xinghua village changed its site several times, and was re placed in Xinghua Village Park in 1992.
