Bailiandong Park

Located at the southern foot of Baimian mountain, 12 kilometers away from the southern suburb of Liuzhou City, it is built on the basis of the stone age cultural site of Bailian cave. But the red carp has become a dragon fossil, lying in the lotus grove in the mountain, with a guanidine spring in its mouth. People call it "Longquan water". The spring gushes three feet, and the Qingfen Qinren is inexhaustible all the year round. When the red carp died, it once vomited a jade bead in the mountain stream and turned into a lotus terrace. When he went down to the earth, Guanyin could not help but feel excited when he saw the lotus terrace like flowers. He did not return to the sky and lived in seclusion in the cave on the mountain. From then on, there was Guanyin rock on the mountain. The interview of Guanyin divination turned into a huge "wooden fish stone" of friends. The "Amitabha Buddha in the South" read out by Guanyin becomes a handwriting, which is scattered on each rock.

During the reign of Daoguang, Bao Jun, a scholar in Zhuhai, was frustrated in his official career and converted to Buddhism. He came to Guanyinyan to feel the scene and feel the emotion. He wrote a poem: "let go of the Dharma and get the Zen grace, wash the dust heart and get the root of Taoism. If you want to ask the mountain monk about the past, Yanji ape goes to the empty Mountain Gate." Monks asked him to inscribe on the wall: "Dashi Pavilion" three words, in order to show kaolin laugh at the world. During the Xianfeng Period, ye Xianzhao, a scholar of Jida in Zhuhai, also engraved the word "Xixin" on the wall to persuade people to think about the past and ask for the good. Later generations also built a "Huatuo hall" and a "kangshouting" on the mountain, hoping to eliminate the disaster and live a long and healthy life.

The large-scale construction of Bailian cave was carried out in 1936 by the overseas Chinese in Vietnam and the businessmen from all walks of life in Jida township. At that time, the Bailian cave was rebuilt, stone bridges, pavilions, hotels, restaurants, baths, etc. were added, and a large number of flowers and trees were planted to make it look better.

From then on, tourists gathered and Bailian cave became a famous spot in Zhuhai. However, during the Anti Japanese War, Bailian cave was destroyed, and all the hundred year old trees were cut down.
