The natural scenery of maxionggou has the characteristics of male, strange, dangerous and beautiful. "Xiong" is located on both sides of the valley, with towering mountains, abrupt peaks and steep walls; "Qi", with many strange mountains, rocks, rare trees and wild flowers, is known as the "natural botanical garden"; "danger", with Lixiang highway passing by cliffs, is extremely dangerous; "Xiu", with water in the valley, springs in the valley and trees in the valley, is charming.

The scenic spot is located in shagong Township, on the Lixiang highway. It is said that there are many horse bears in the valley. They often meet firewood cutters. Therefore, the "horse bear Valley" is named.
