Qinglong Gorge

Qinglong gorge is located 20 kilometers north of Huairou District, Beijing. Qinglong gorge is surrounded by green mountains and green water, as well as the well preserved enemy tower of the Great Wall in Ming Dynasty. It is a good place for Beijing citizens to spend their holidays. There is a reservoir dam in Qinglong gorge, which divides the whole scenic area into two parts: Gaoxia Pinghu District in the South and extreme sports place on the east bank.

In the southern Lake area, the scenic area provides many water sports. Tourists can take a cruise boat or a speedboat here to enjoy the scenery on both sides of the Strait. They can also choose bamboo cutting or rowing in the shallow water area, or play water games such as bumper boat and water walking ball. In summer, there are swimming pools in the lake area.

If you like more exciting entertainment, then go to the East Bank of the scenic spot. In the East Bank of Qinglong Gorge Scenic Area, there are extreme entertainment facilities, such as bungee jumping, rock climbing and downhill. Among them, the bungee jumping platform is about 60 meters away from the water surface, which is the highest one in Beijing. The total length of the rapid descent is about 300 meters, with a drop of about 30 meters. The climbing height is up to 25 meters. These events are very challenging and exciting.

In addition, you can walk along the climbing trail in Qinglong Gorge Scenic Area (or take a sightseeing cable car, 10 minutes one way) to reach yuhuangtai, the highest peak in the scenic area. Along the way, you can enjoy the winding of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall in the mountains. When the weather is fine, you can also see Huairou city and Miyun reservoir from the top of the mountain.

There are accommodation and catering services in the scenic area, but most tourists return to Beijing on the same day and do not stay in the scenic area.

Qinglong Gorge

Qinglong gorge is located 20 kilometers north of Huairou District in Beijing and 75 kilometers away from Sanyuan bridge in Beijing. Qinglong Gorge

Qinglong Gorge

Main attractions

Waterfall: from July to August, when the rainfall is sufficient and the water level reaches a certain level, there will be overflow waterfall. The width of the waterfall is 12 meters and the drop is 50 meters. The waterfall is like a white dragon spinning down when it is discharging. The momentum is torrential and the scene is very spectacular.

Flying Dragon Waterfall in Canglong Gorge

The ancients once wrote a poem about canglongyu: "canglongsunset is OK, the old trees are blooming in spring.". It is said that the water volume of canglongyu has increased greatly in summer over the years, and the stream is running incessantly, which is caused by the rain of the old dragon. In addition, the vegetation in the valley is good, and the mountains are vast, so it is called canglongyu. Canglongyu is about 2km long from the mouth of the ditch to feilongpu. It walks along the mouth of the ditch to the stream in the ditch. The stone steps are circuitous and climbing step by step. Along the way, there are 18 large and small spring pools, such as "yufengtan" and "yuebotan", and there are stone carvings, such as "Hanyun", "Yulu" and "dangshiquansheng", for tourists to take photos. Along both sides of the stream, the mountains are towering and the vegetation is luxuriant. When you reach the highest point, you can see a white pitching line of "Feilong waterfall", flying down from a height of more than ten meters. The water is flowing everywhere and the sound of the waves is pleasant.

Tour of the Great Wall

Qinglongxia ancient Great Wall is dashuiyuguan, the frontier fortress of the Great Wall in Ming Dynasty. Although most of the ancient Great Wall in Qinglong Gorge Scenic Spot are broken steles, the great wall here has its own unique style. To visit the ancient Great Wall in Qinglong gorge area, one can see the majestic appearance of the Great Wall on the ridge along the Canglong valley line; the other is to climb the city at the secluded part of the winding road, where you can see famous ancient trees such as "LIANLI DiCui" and "mother and baby pine", and overlook the scenery such as "lingering and circuitous attic Road, seven star rock and green dragon in the stream". Water recreation
