In order to build Zhangzhou into a green city, a flower city, a water city and a famous historical and cultural city, the Zhangzhou municipal Party committee and the Zhangzhou municipal government issued the "seven five" ecological construction action plan in July 2015, which included the Jiangdong area (Changzhou, Wupu, Yangxi and other three villages) of Bangshan and the "Longjiang ode" theme project as one of the important contents of the construction of Zhangzhou Eastern scenic area. Bangshan Town, Longhai City, closely adheres to the instruction spirit of "dare to take responsibility to see Bangshan", and makes every effort to promote the construction of the "Longjiang ode" theme project.

It flooded more than 300 mu of wheat and sugarcane that will be harvested soon, and supported the smooth implementation of the river blocking project, which played a typical exemplary role. The spirit of Yangxi brigade sacrificing the ego, taking the overall situation into consideration, and later the spirit of Bangshan commune "drowning thousands of people and saving hundreds of thousands of people" were praised as "Bangshan style", which led the county's fight against drought. In the process of blocking the river in Xixi, the "jade pillow style" of "first protecting 100000, then looking at 2000, giving up soldiers to protect cars, and all living" emerged; in the process of blocking the river in Beixi, a typical example of "what is the loss of 800, and it is important to save 60000" appeared in Shazhou brigade of jiaomei commune; In the process of blocking the river in Nanxi, a moving example of Xiling brigade of Dongsi commune appeared: "it is a small profit to submerge more than 200 mu of good farmland, and it is a big profit to save more than 30000 mu of paddy fields downstream.".
