Hongyun Jinding

The peak rises from the ground with a vertical height difference of 100 meters. The upper part is divided into two parts, linked by the overpass, and two temples are built respectively, one for Sakyamuni and the other for Maitreya. This proves the alternation of modern Buddha (Sakyamuni) to future Buddha (Maitreya). In the morning, the auspicious atmosphere of the red clouds often lingers around, which is called Hongyun Jinding.

Jinding of Fanjing Mountain is the highest peak of Wuling Mountain, also known as Hongyun Jinding. It is named because it is surrounded by red clouds in the morning. The altitude of xinjinding is 2336 meters, and the vertical height difference from the foot of the peak to the peak is 94 meters. Overlooking Jinding, it looks like a steamer for farming and a huge exclamation mark in the sea of clouds. To climb Jinding, you need to use the narrow stone pedals chiseled from the cliff on the right side, with the help of iron chains and hands and feet. If you are not careful, you will fall into the abyss. Jinding is the "gathering basin" of cultural scenic spots and natural landscape in Fanjing Mountain, with high grade and unique.

Traffic information

Bus: there are buses to Fanjing Mountain at the exit of Tongren railway station. There are a lot of buses every day from April to November in the peak season. The price is 25 yuan per person, 80 km. The asphalt pavement of the third class highway is basically along the river. It's very easy to walk. It takes about 1.5 hours to get to the gate of Fanjing Mountain. Take the train from Beijing, Wuhan and Zhengzhou, Kunming and Guiyang to get off at Yuping station of Zhuzhou Liupanshui railway line, then take the bus 74 km to Tongren bus station (20 yuan / person), take the bus 50 km to Jiangkou bus station (15 yuan / person), and then take the bus 30 km to Fanjing Mountain (8 yuan / person). Huaihua City, Hunan Province takes the train to Tongren railway station for 1 hour.

Bus: in Changsha, Zhangjiajie, Changde, Jishou and Fenghuang, there are passenger buses to Tongren every day. In peak season, there are many passenger buses to Fanjing Mountain every day at Tongren north bus station (200 meters in front of Tongren railway station). The ticket price is 25 yuan per person. In off-season, you need to take a bus to Jiangkou bus station first, and then transfer to Fanjing Mountain. The provincial capitals of Guiyang, Kaili, Duyun and Zunyi have more than one passenger transport to Tongren every day. Guiyang has two passenger cars to Jiangkou county every day.

Aircraft: Tongren airport is 22 kilometers away from Tongren City, with only two normal routes of Guangzhou and Guiyang. During the peak season, Beijing and Shanghai routes will be launched.

Main attractions

Jinding peak of Fanjing Mountain is 100 meters high. The crack in the middle is called Jindao gorge, which divides Jinding into two parts and is connected by an overpass. There are two temples on each side, one for Sakyamuni and the other for Maitreya. Red cloud auspicious gas often around, known as red cloud Jinding, harmonic "Hongyun Jinding". It looks like a flying dragon, like the two finger zen of bergamot, and more like the totem of human life. According to its shape, it is also called "the first peak in the world".

Climbing up the iron rope, there are cliffs on all sides and ancient temples along the way. Halfway through Lingguan hall and Longtoushi, we arrive at Guanyin cave. Guanyin cave is a stone cave on the cliff. A stone house is built by hanging from the mountain. Under the stone house is a deep valley dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva. Guanyin cave is also known as "da'er cave". It is said that the faithful men and women who have not had children for a long time kowtow three times to Jinding, and then throw a small stone into the cave. They will get the Buddha's gift and grow up healthily. Outside Guanyin cave, there is a stone called gratitude stone, which is engraved with the four characters "no virtue, no reward". From Guanyin cave up to "Jindao gorge" and "yixiantian". There is a natural spring "centering water" on the cliff.

Around Jinding, there are ten thousand volumes of scriptures, mushroom stone, Eagle Rock and "washing hands in a golden basin". Laojinding has a variety of forms, and the angle peaks are in harmony with each other. In the Niuwei River Valley, the crown prince's stone peak stands upright, which can be called a unique one.

Jinding, 2494 meters above sea level, is the highest peak of Wuling mountains. Li Daoyuan of the Northern Wei Dynasty is called sanlishan in shuijingzhu, three valleys in Hanshu · geographer, where chenshui comes from, Yuanhe county annals by Li Jifu, where it is called "a food mountain, eight hundred and thirty miles to the west of Mayang", and Jiulongshan is called "more than a hundred feet high, nine branches down, Tongren and two rivers out". There are also names such as yuejing mountain and Jiangtou mountain. Overlooking Jinding, it is just like the steamer used by farmers to steam rice. The homophonic tube in eastern Guizhou is called fanzhuangshan.
