Five horses facing the sky

It is located four kilometers south of Ciping and one kilometer away from the scenic spot. Five peaks stand side by side, with a peculiar shape. The cliffs are hundreds of feet high, and the mountains are magnificent. It looks like five horses standing tall. According to legend, it was formed by five heavenly horses, so it was called "five horses facing the sky". With five horses in the sky, the scenery of spring, summer, autumn and winter is all wonderful. On the hillside, there is a rugged path winding by, known as "Red Army Road".

Two small rivers meet at the foot of the mountain, and there are multi-level waterfalls above the two rivers. There are many waterfalls on the bridge, and there are several waterfalls on the other stream. At the entrance, there are Caiyun bridge and sling bridge, which can not only enjoy the scenery, but also slide rope, shoot arrow and climb rock bravely

The main landscapes are Yanqing bridge, Xianyan cave, ancient trees and so on.

Five horses facing the sky

Wuma Chaotian is three kilometers south of Ciping. Wuma Chaotian refers to the five successive peaks, which are named because they are like five horses in shape, steep cliffs and colorful cliffs, like the hair patterns on the body of a horse. Legend has it that the five peaks are made of five heavenly horses. There is no way to the top of the mountain with five horses facing the sky. Sometimes you can see macaques playing on it. At the foot of Wuma Chaotian mountain, a small power station has been built to block the river. The water surface of the power station is clear and blue, reflecting the Leilei peak of Wuma Chaotian mountain, with the poetic and picturesque feeling of "high gorge out of Pinghu Lake".

Legend

It is said that in ancient times, there were five immortal horses in the Royal stables of the heavenly court who came to the world because of their yearning for the common people and gave birth to a couple surnamed Liu. That year, Liu Tianfu gave birth to quintuplets. One day in the sky and one year in the world, the five brothers grew up in the twinkling of an eye. The eldest is a hunter, the second is a farmer, the third is a doctor, the fourth is a stonecutter, and the fifth is a carpenter. The family work hard and live a happy life. Unexpectedly, at this time, the heavenly court found five lost horses, and the Royal Horse officer reported them to the Jade Emperor in a hurry. The Jade Emperor sent the thunder god to lead the heavenly soldiers and generals to the earth to arrest them. Because of their nostalgia for human life, the five immortal horses refused to return to heaven. In his fury, Thor ordered them to go back to heaven. Five horse bodies were left behind, so the five saddle shaped stone peaks became today's five horses facing the sky.
