Liao Guoyue

Liao Guoyue, born in Rongchang District of Chongqing in January 1992, is a male singer from the mainland of China and graduated from the Academy of fine arts of Tsinghua University.

Early experience

Liao Guoyue was born in Rongchang District of Chongqing in January 1992. He began to learn painting when he was in the fifth grade of primary school. He studied in Bashu middle school in middle school. In the second year of junior high school, Liao Guoyue often sang Jay Chou's "Dongfeng Po" at home. When his father found that his son sang well, he encouraged him to learn to sing and found a vocal music teacher for him. At seven o'clock every Saturday morning, Liao Guoyue gets up to go to vocal music class. Until he comes home after class, his parents still don't get up. "After one year of high school, he stopped because the task was too heavy," he said At that time, Liao Guoyue, who loved singing, did not want to apply for music college. But after he went to university in Beijing, he had more time at his disposal. He often used his spare time to practice sound and teach himself guitar.

In 2010, Liao Guoyue got the major of weaving and dyeing in the Academy of fine arts of Tsinghua University with excellent results. Among the 16 students in the whole major, he is the only boy. His classmates ridiculed him as "Liao Mei". In October of the same year, Liao Guoyue signed up for the campus singer competition and won the first prize in the freshmen's special performance with two English songs, Mandy and flying without wings. "I'm very happy to have just won the prize, but when I entered the school competition, I found that everyone was very good." Due to his inexperience in the first competition, Liao Guoyue was eliminated in the second round of the school, but his singing skills were recognized by the students. He also took part in the performances of Tsinghua Centennial Gala, year-end Carnival and other campus activities, basically once a month. In 2011, Liao Guoyue signed up for the campus singer competition again, but he was defeated in the second round. In December 2012, he finally won the champion of Tsinghua University campus singer competition.

Acting experience

At the beginning of December 2012, the video "love", which won the first prize, was released with more than one million hits on major video websites, and was highly praised by many musicians such as Chang Shilei, Tang Lei and Song Fei. After that, he released a series of cover videos on the Internet one after another, all of which achieved good results.

In November 2013, the original song "song for parents" was released, and the song MV once again caused wide spread and Discussion on the Internet.

Music production experience

In addition to being the lead singer of giant Huang, Liao Guoyue is also a recording mixer in O2 studio, recording for Zhang HengYuan, Suzuki, Hu Chen, David and many other musicians.
