Shek O beach is located in the south of Hong Kong Island with convenient transportation. Every weekend, the beach's tourists rub shoulders one after another, or barbecue, or swim, an endless stream. Overlooking from the mountain, Shiao beach is like an ancient Chinese village in a postcard. Its traditional and simple atmosphere is in sharp contrast to the luxurious residence built on the Haijiao mountains. There is a stone terrace near the sea, commonly known as "lover's Corner", in the suburb area of Shiao Cape to the east of Shiao beach. There are many waves on the beach, which is a good place to talk and enjoy the waves. The rich are frequent visitors to golf courses and country clubs, while other citizens will enjoy the charming scenery of Blue Sea Sands on the nearby dalangwan beach, where there are stone carvings from the bronze age.
