Zhuhe Park

Zhuhe park is located in the south of the urban water collection center. It is an open Riverside Park reconstructed from the original Zhuhe river. It starts from lijiatun bridge in the East and ends at the downstream rubber dam of Shuiyuan road bridge in the west, with a total length of 3190 meters. The total land area is 13 hectares and the water surface area is 28.9 hectares. The river dredging and reconstruction, dredging and regulation, stone masonry slope protection, the construction of garden sketches and green planting on both sides of 20-25m wide flood discharge platform and 2.5m high flood control embankment, the placement of street lights and neon lights, the beautiful environment, and the increasing number of residential buildings on both sides of Zhuhe river.

Zhuhe Park was built in 1992, which was called Binhe Park. There are only four parks, 180 meters to the West and 70 meters to the east of Yantai Road Zhuhe bridge on the North Bank of the river, West Green Space of spillway in front of Fisheries Bureau and 70 meters to the west of Zhuhe bridge on the South Bank of the river. From 1998 to 2000, the East and West reaches of Yantai Road bridge were reconstructed. The green planting area was expanded by nearly 100000 square meters. A large number of trees and shrubs were planted, flower beds and lawns were built. Five antique pavilions, three underground management rooms and bathhouse changing rooms were built, and 14 sculptures were built. In 2003, one temporary bridge was built. Laixi City government named Zhuhe park on August 1, 1999.
