Songshan Temple
Songshan temple, Chinese Buddhist temple. Located in Songshan District, Taipei, Taiwan Province. It was founded in 1957. At first, there were only three rafters in the wooden house. In 1961, the palace of the king of France was built. The height of the palace was seven Zhang and two feet, and the height of the Buddha statue was two Zhang and six feet. Guanyin building was added in 1969. Today, the temple has a large scale. There were some Buddhist institutions in the temple, such as junior college Buddhist lectures, Taiwan Chinese Buddhist Research Association, lion roar magazine, Taiwan printing office, Taiwan Chinese Buddhist Association literature Committee and so on.
