Suomo River Canyon

The Tibetan meaning of "suomo" is "many sentries", and it also means "comb of the emperor". It is named after suomo tusiguan village.

The magnificent and slender suomo River Grand Canyon is 91 km long, with a vertical elevation difference of 890 m, from Shuma Lukou at the foot of Zhegu Mountain to rezu, Baiwan Township, markang county. The stone cliffs on both sides are steep and the vegetation is luxuriant. The suomo river flows across the valley like a ribbon dancing in the hands of the mountain god of Zhegu Mountain, connecting many beautiful sceneries. The scenery is pleasant and beautiful. There are three famous sceneries in suomo River Grand Canyon: one is Rhododendron like rosy clouds, the other is autumn forest like screen, and the third is floating ice like beads. "Flowers in spring, green in summer, red leaves in autumn, ice and snow in winter" is the best summary of the four seasons scenery of suomo River Grand Canyon.
