Shibayue Lake scenic spot is located in the southwest of Micang Mountain National Forest Park, 53 kilometers away from Nanjiang County by Yangba Town, and 54 kilometers away from Taoyuan by Jiujiao mountain. The scenic area covers an area of 9950 hectares, including 5150 hectares of scenic spots. Shibayue lake is located in the Pearl valley about 3 km northeast of Dajiangkou forest farm. In the Pearl valley about 3.5 km long, there are 18 fairy pools.

The 18 waterfall pools are MengYue lake, Wangyue lake, Zhuoyue lake, penyue lake, Mingyue lake, Cuiyue lake, Juyue lake, zhaoyue lake, Fengyue lake, Laoyue lake, zuiyue lake, Zhenyue lake, Xinyue lake, naoyue lake, Jingyue lake, Yinyue lake, Suiyue lake and Siyue Lake in turn, just like an 18-year-old girl lying bashfully in the beautiful alpine green forest Deep stream. Most of these famous pools are named according to their scale and characteristics. In fact, there are some unique pools and waterfalls in them, such as "eye pool, Sanbao pool, peacock pool, Yingjian pool" and so on. Shibayuetan waterfall group shibayuetan is famous for its clear water, different rocks and beautiful scenery. When you enter the scenic area, the first thing you can see is the wedding waterfall, which is more than 50 meters high. From a distance, it looks like a silver wedding dress, hence the name of wedding waterfall. Zhao gongtan is the most famous one among the 18 moon lakes. It covers an area of about 100 square meters, surrounded by pines, sandalwood and azaleas. It is primitive and simple. In March 1940, Zhao MingEn, commander of the Bashan guerrilla battalion, was killed while drinking water. People named this pool "Zhao gongtan" in memory of him. Perhaps it is because of the blood of martyrs that the azaleas around shibayue lake are all of different colors. Only the azaleas around Zhaogong lake are blood red and have no color. Tourists feel solemn when they come here. There are also many well-known and unknown pools in shibayue Lake scenic area, such as colorful pool, golden turtle pool, lovers pool and prodigy pool. Every lake has its own characteristics, which makes tourists forget to return.
