Salan Town, Miyi County, Sichuan Province is located on the west slope of the Pearl Lake basin type U-shaped wide valley in the lower part of Anning River in Panxi area. In the southwest of Miyi County, a 9 km long cement pavement trunk road runs across the town and connects with national highway 108. It is 10 km away from the nearest passenger and freight station of Chengdu Kunming railway. The industrial, agricultural and domestic power consumption of the town is connected with the State Grid. For the convenience of using electrodes, the town reaches the standard of water conservancy. Its geographical coordinates are 101 ° 57 ′ - 102 ° 6 ′ E and 26 ° 42 ′ - 26 ° 56 ′ n, covering an area of 122.28 square kilometers.
