Rongxian Museum

Zhenwu Pavilion of Rongxian museum is a pearl in the history of architecture in China. Its unique wooden structure is called "Tiannan outstanding structure" by the famous architect Professor Liang Sicheng. Rongxian museum is the first batch of patriotic education bases in the autonomous region.

Development history

Rong county has a long history, developed culture and rich cultural relics. One bronze smelting site of Han Dynasty, one city wall of Tang Dynasty, five kiln sites of Song Dynasty and 26 ancient buildings of Ming and Qing Dynasties were found in the county. There are 2 national key cultural relics protection units (12 sites), 4 regional key cultural relics protection units (8 sites) and 14 county-level key cultural relics protection units; there are 6659 precious cultural relics from the Neolithic era to the Republic of China dynasties, including 3 national first-class cultural relics, 36 second-class cultural relics and 258 third-class cultural relics. The number and value of cultural relics rank first in all counties of Guangxi autonomous region. The fine cultural relics have been exhibited in County, city and district museums and in the French "year of Chinese culture" for many times, and have been highly praised by people in the industry.

Scientific planning and multi input

In order to make many historical relics in the county better serve the present age and benefit future generations, Rong county has incorporated cultural relics protection into urban and rural construction and economic and social development planning. In 1995, during the urban reconstruction of Rong County, an enterprise planned to build an electroplating factory at Chengguan kiln site, a cultural relic protection unit in Chengxi road autonomous region. Because it involved key cultural relic protection units in Chengxi road autonomous region, Rong County Government studied with relevant departments for many times and decided to let the enterprise build another factory in the overall situation of protecting historical and cultural heritage, and invested 25000 yuan to protect Chengguan kiln site with iron fence Come on. In November 2004, according to the new construction environment, the Rongxian government redrawn the protection scope and construction control zone of the national protection units jingluetai Zhenwu Pavilion, Rongxian 11 modern buildings, Chengguan kiln sites, Xishan copper smelting sites and other cultural relics protection units, and made a decision that no facilities endangering the safety of cultural relics should be built in the control zone, and no buildings incompatible with the environmental features of the cultural relics protection units should be built Cultural heritage is better protected by the regulation of buildings or structures.

Rong County attaches great importance to the investment of cultural relics protection, and has always included all the cultural relics funds into the county budget. Since the establishment of the county cultural relics management office in 1979, the annual cultural relics fund of the whole county was 7100 yuan, and increased to 465000 yuan in 2009, a 65 fold increase in 30 years. Rong county also allocates 50000 yuan from the urban construction and maintenance fee as the cultural relic maintenance fund every year. After zhenwuge park is opened as a tourist attraction, 5% of the annual ticket income of zhenwuge in jingluetai is used as the special cultural relic maintenance fee. In addition, the county government also allocated special funds for the acquisition of cultural relics, making the collection of cultural relics in the county reach 6659. In the 14 years from 1995 to 2009, the county, with the support of the superior department in charge of cultural relics, raised 1.58 million yuan to repair the Zhenwu Pavilion of jingluetai, the Tang Mianmian Pavilion, the Ming Lingzhong Pavilion, the veranda of the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, the former residence of Huang Shaohong, the county protection unit, and built the Zhenwu Pavilion stele corridor, cultural window, and cultural relics storehouse. A number of cultural relics protection units have regained their splendor.

Legal protection and standardized management

Rongxian county has established and improved the archives of cultural relics protection units at all levels, delimited the scope of protection, set up protection signs, set up boundary stakes of protection areas, defined the responsibility for protection, and ensured the safety of cultural relics protection units in the county. According to the results of the census and registration of cultural relics, a number of cultural relics that were not previously designated as objects of protection were also designated as objects of protection.

Rongxian museum is a garden museum with ancient architectural relics and garden scenery, covering an area of 18200 square meters and a building area of 1880 square meters. Collection

The museum has a collection of 5357 pieces, mainly local historical relics, including stone axes, large stone shovels and a batch of talc net pendants unearthed in the Neolithic age. There are bronze axes and chisels of the Warring States period and the distinctive southern minority musical instrument, the sheep horn button bronze chime bell. There are half Liang coins of the Qin Dynasty and bronze drums from the Han Dynasty to the southern and Northern Dynasties. There are all kinds of bronze mirrors, stone inkstones and ceramics from the Tang and Song dynasties. There are bronzes, porcelains, jades and other arts and crafts handed down from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In addition, it also collected a number of valuable local documents, including more than 200 kinds and 400 volumes of genealogy alone, works of local cultural celebrities such as Wang guide, Wang Weixin, Su Wuchang, Feng Zhu Tang and Xu Songshi, and authentic works of calligraphers and painters such as Wang Su, Kang Youwei, Xu Beihong and Chen Shuxun in the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.
