Tangshan mountain (formerly called xiejianzhang) is located in the north of Lianjiang City. It is an east-west mountain range. It stretches for several kilometers and is majestic. It looks like a green dragon, protecting the whole Lianjiang City.

According to historical records, Tangshan mountain was designated as one of the eight scenic spots in Shicheng County (formerly known as lianjiang) in 1819. At the foot of the southern foot of the mountain, there is an ancient well, which is called "immortal well". According to the records of Shicheng County annals, "the immortal dug a well in the south of xiejianzhang, about 3 feet deep. The well head was slightly round, and the bottom of the well was full of gravel. The water poured from top to bottom. It was not muddy and the tea was delicious.". Every morning and evening, many people line up here to get water in order to drink "fairy water" and live a long life. In September 2000, the municipal government invested more than 8 million yuan in the construction of tangshanling ecological park. On January 29, 2006, the first phase of the park was completed, with archway, Big Bell Pavilion, book Pavilion, climbing cement ladder, cement road around the mountain, etc. In the mountains, the planting of valuable landscape trees. The planning area of the park is 6.5 square kilometers, and the first phase construction is 2.5 square kilometers. The main peak of Tangshan mountain is 190 meters above sea level. On the East peak of Tangshan mountain, there stands a 118 meter high radio and television transmitting tower with a transmitting radius of 120 kilometers, covering Maoming, Yulin, Hepu, Zhanjiang, Haikou and other areas, known as "the first tower in western Guangdong". Standing on the top of the mountain, you can have a panoramic view of Liancheng.
