Wangji town

Wangji Town, belonging to Cao County, Heze City, Shandong Province, is located in the east of Cao County, bordering Houji Hui town in the East, Sunlaojia town in the south, Panshi street in the west, and Pulian town and guying town in the north. The area is 48.05 square kilometers. In 2018, 38932 people registered residence.

In 1959, rocket commune was moved to Wangji and renamed as Wangji commune. In December 1983, dongliji township was established. In November 1988, dongliji township was withdrawn and assigned to caocheng, Houji, Sunlaojia and Wangji respectively. In May 2002, Wangji township was abolished and Wangji town was established. In June 2020, Wangji town governs 15 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 72 industrial enterprises in Wangji Town, including 20 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 48 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In 1952, it was changed to a seasonal gathering area.
