Hongcheng hot spring is surrounded by mountains and crisscross fields,. The spring comes from Yanzui cave and flows into a small pool of about 20 square meters. The spring water is clear and flows to the bottom again. It is not affected by the rainy season. It is warm in winter and cool in summer all the year round. It can be used for bathing in winter. Its water quality contains a variety of trace elements that are beneficial to skin diseases and health, and does not contain sulfur and other harmful substances.

In Hongcheng hot spring, Zhang Yan, a famous scholar of Chang'an in the Ming Dynasty, wrote a poem with the title of "I'm willing to clear my village, but I don't envy Huaqing's downtown road" carved on the rock.
