Linju Park

Linju park is located between the first bridge and the second bridge of Dangyang in the urban section of Juhe River, with a water area of 30.4 hectares. Located at the entrance of Nanzheng street, there is a main gate of the park. Yang Baoping, Secretary of Dangyang municipal Party committee, inscribed "Linju Park" for the gate. Danyang Xizhao scenic spot is located in the east of the South Bank of the first Dangyang bridge. There are two pavilions at the end of the bridge, namely the antique double eaves hexagonal pavilion with Ming and Qing style, the health trail, the century square and the morning exercise leisure area.

Development and construction

The estimated investment of the project is 46 million yuan, which is implemented in three phases. The park is jointly designed by Jingzhou urban planning and Design Institute, Dangyang Water Conservancy Design Office and Dangyang planning and Design Institute. The Construction Bureau of Dangyang city takes the lead in organizing the construction of Dangyang Municipal Engineering Office, Dangyang second construction company and Dangyang garden office.

The first phase of Juhe urban comprehensive reconstruction project started on April 26, 1998 and was completed in January 2000. The scope of reconstruction is 300 meters upstream of the first bridge and 200 meters downstream of the second bridge. The total length of the Central River is 2350 meters, and the width along both banks of the river is 400-500 meters. The first phase investment is 25 million yuan. By the end of 2000, 60% of the first and second phases of the project had been successfully completed.

Main scenic spots

The central water scenic area mainly includes a archway with four characters "Linju Park" at the entrance of Nanzheng street, a European style lotus fountain on the left side of the central square, a cloud stone spring array, a giant stone array and three rockeries on the right side of the central square.

Furong Yingxia scenic spot is located between the central waterscape and simian Yunshan. There are climbing frames, sand pits, red leaf island and other scenic spots. There is a double eaves hexagonal pavilion in the red leaf island.

Simian Yunshan scenic spot is located on the South Bank of the second Dangyang bridge. It mainly has peace pigeons and other scenes, reflecting people's desire for peace.

Juhe Chunxiao scenic spot is located on the east side of the North Bank of the first Dangyang bridge. There are national fitness places and sculpture gardens composed of life size sculpture groups.

Wuhai Songtao scenic area is located on the west side of the North Bank of the second Dangyang bridge. It is a free style garden with green hills and trees, giving people a free and unrestrained feeling.
