One person Lane
Yirenxiang is located in Sanhe ancient town, Feixi County, Hefei City, Anhui Province, opposite to laodalou teahouse in the middle of South Street. Because the alley is very narrow, only one person can pass through it. When two people meet, they have to walk sideways to pass through it. The high ancient brick gable divides the buildings on both sides, so it gets the name.
Sanhe ancient town has ten streets and twenty-six lanes, one of which is the oldest, longest and most famous. This is "one person lane", because the lane is so narrow that only one person can pass through it. What's more, there is a celebrity named Yang Zhenning, who won the Nobel Prize in physics in 1957.
The origin of yirenxiang in Sanhe ancient town is not very clear, but what it leaves us is the obscure mystery of life experience and the intriguing ancient street scenery.
